Need Help Identifying NAVY Uniform

I need help identifying this Navy Uniform. I purchased it in an estate sale in upstate New York. I have no clue about the history of it, year, etc. I called Rawlings, but they were no help. Any help from you experts would be appreciated!! ::o

1940s - 1950 from what I can tell

I believe that Rawlings used the "Hall of Fame" tag from 1954-1960.
