One of the many nice things about pre-war collecting, at least for me, is observing the evolution of the uniform over the years, from the lace-up, rawhide string jerseys of the 19th century to the billowing trousers of the 1930's. I love all cards of players wearing sweaters, with my favorite being the E9 Keeler. Now for today's opinion poll question: which 2 team uniforms found in the T206 set are your favorites? I am going to claim the Red Sox for the great gothic lettering and red piping and the White Sox away uniform for dramatic change of color. Opinions, please.

For photography collectors and dealers, one of the ways to day a cabinet, tintype or cdv is by the uniforms and equipment. So advanced baseball photo collectors usually have some expertise in uniforms, even if they don't collect uniforms.
