eBay just had 2 1955 Topps Aaron's both PSA 8 ended at auction by PWCC. The near perfect centered one went for $ 2600.+ and the one centered 60/40 s/s went for $1600.+. Wow! I did not see any print dots/marks/tilt cut or other on either card - just the centering difference.

For me at least. I will not buy or bid if 60/40 or worse.

I followed those cards. The one that went for $2600 was not 50/50 top to bottom. It was the nicer card, but not $1000 nicer IMO

I have seen the nicer card bring less money frequently on PWCC items.

I guess that's a lot of what the true high-end market is about anymore. I collect lower-grade cards - and while centering isn't something that's terribly important to me on the whole - I will admit that I consider it a lot more now than I did as a kid. Sign of the times, I guess.
