What would sell better - a complete 1970 Action Cartridge, a graded Action Cartridge box, or cutting out the "card" and having it graded? I bought a small lot of these to get a Hank Aaron one, and I am left with four others that I don't want. The boxes are definitely not perfect, but I think I might be able to get four nice looking cards off them. BTW, I have Tom Seaver, Willie Davis, Brooks Robinson, and Lou Brock - pm me if anyone is interested in one. Thanks.

I don't recall a "card" to be cut off an action cartridge box
I would be interested in the Brooks item
I always wanted to watch the Brooks cartridge. Do you have the camera for viewing a cartridge ? Thanks. Scott

I have seen PSA graded examples of the picture on the front of the box cut out - it is nearly the same size as a regular card. I have also seen the front of the box cut out and graded, as well as the entire box graded.

I mostly see the intact box with cartridge on eBay. I have Lou Brock all 3 ways. I doubt I paid more than $10 dollars for any of them. There are quite a few on eBay right now

Good question. I picked up a complete box with cartridge and instruction sheet for my Aaron collection and have wondered how to deal with it ever since. And where do you have to cut it?

Or do you just get the whole box slabbed?

Check the PSA Baseball Player Registry, Hank Aaron master set owned by mas715 to see a graded one. The "card" looks like this:

I don't think any of the cartridges were ever designed to be cards, but as stated there are all states of the box/s being graded. I personally like the whole box graded if anything.

I like the whole box graded, too, but I can also see taking a damaged low grade box and cutting a high grade "card" out of it.

What are you asking for the Davis? I think I have one, but can't remember now. I'll have to check the Dodger oddball boxes if I can dig them out.
