This will be my first time at a card show since about 1987. Looking forward to it. Curious who else may be going/selling and if anyone has any details about the show. I see a list of guests but no dates or times.

Everything you need is at this link:

http://gbscc.com/convention-2015/

It has hours, dealer map, and signers based on what days they will be there. The lineup of autograph guests is amazing.

Stop by Main St Sportscards table (Jeff Francis) Tables #241 and 242. I will be at that table all weekend. Can't wait!

Peace, Mike

Love of the Game will be there for the first time ever, in booth 239/240. I'll be accepting consignments for our upcoming auctions and displaying items from our forthcoming winter auction.

We'll also be displaying one of the coolest pieces we've ever offered, which will be coming back home to Boston for the first time since 1930: a multi-signed poster given to Lou Criger after the Boston Post Old-Timer's Game that season. The poster delivered a get well message to Criger and was signed by 49 people, including Nuf Ced McGreevy, Cy Young, Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, Jimmy Collins, Ed Walsh, and lots more.

Come check it out!

Hi-
We try a meet up at every Wilmington show on Saturday at noon but it is usually just the regulars (Steve, Scott and Erich and one or two others). It would be great if more folks came! So please come on over to the snack bar at noon on Saturday. I would also love to meet up with folks every day if possible. If anyone is around at 2:00 on Friday we can try another meeting at the snack bar then.

The GBSCC is my favorite show of the year. I think I may have missed it once in the last 25 years. Planning on going Friday afternoon/evening and again Sunday.

If anyone going to the show could do me a favor....a friend of my daughter is infatuated with Kelly O'Hara the women's soccer player. His name is Zach and if someone could get a personalized photo for him I would pay you for the trouble. Not sure if she is there Saturday or Sunday.

Don't know if the line would be there for an also-ran on the women's soccer team...if it is long I don't want to bother anyone. But if the opportunity arises it would make this kids year.

How has the show the first 2 days with regards to vintage cards?

Very busy show. Lots of 50's cards. Pre-war is well represented but early topps dominate the tables.

This show was flexing it's muscle the past couple days, and from what I saw, was rather well attended. I know for a fact that quite a few people made the haul from the New York / New Jersey area to see something new / mix it up a little. From a Vintage Point of view, this might be the best show on the east coast. White Plains is a good show, but being 5-6 times a year makes it a little less special, and it leans a little heavier on newer stuff than I would like to see. Don Hontz is an great guy / excellent dealer who has been a shot in the arm for the White Plains Show with his recent attendance. The Philly Show is a little fractured right now with many dealers split between the Valley Forge show and the "Oaks" show. With the climate the way it is right now, I think more and more big collectors who enjoy the "show scene" will find their way up to Massachusetts. Must say I was impressed with the amount of vintage hockey that was on display. Overall a really good show.

Finally made it, got to meet a couple of board members. Got one of the high # 1952s on my want list. Nice turnout but not overcrowded.

Over the last four years or so, I've made plans to attend, only to have something come up that prevented me from going. Didn't plan to go this time around, but I managed to get there today...go figure.

The selection was great all around. I didn't find anything I needed, but my daughter scored a Panini Frozen sticker album/stickers and popcorn. She was psyched. :)

As a memorabiiia collector, this show was a lot of fun. Plenty of oddball things that you don't normally find at a show. Picked up a number of small bargains and had a great time.

SUCH an excellent show.

First, there was some very cool display material scattered around the show; I couldn't resist picking up one piece for the new LOTG office.

Second, it was awesome to be a part of such a well-respected vintage show. I can't wait to set up again next year.

Lastly, it was great to meet up with so many Net54 members, some of which I met for the first time. Had some great conversations and even learned of the existence of a multi-signed baseball from the same old-timers game in 1930 from which our Lou Criger Appreciation piece originated. SO cool.

Looking forward to the next show!
