By my friend and fellow SBU journalism "Wall of Fame" member Dan Barry, one of the best writers in America. He covers last night's Mets-Cub game in the style of an old-time baseball scribe, and captures it well--considering he only had a few hours to do it--even though he fails to refer to the ball as a "rock." If you can get a Friday print copy-- the normally NOT playful NY Times devoted the front page of their sports section to this article with old time type face and headline and box score, sepia photos, more 1915 than 2015....surprising...
