Hey All,

I'm getting ready to sell my '52 Topps Ed Mathews. It's PSA grade, 5 and well centered. Naturally I want to get the most I can for this sale, but I've never before sold a card of this value before. I'm not sure what is the best route to take...should I just straight up ebay it, or consign it somewhere, or split the difference and consign with an ebayer like PWCC? Or try a private sale?

What do you all think? What's the best path to go when selling a big card like this one?

I would probably look up probstein and consign it to eBay through him. His fee is even less than the standard eBay fee since he has deals with both eBay and PayPal, plus many bidders that respect his auctions and bid with confidence.

I believe it will do quite well with REA or PWCC. Well-centered '52 Topps Mathews in PSA 5 are in high demand, which is not a situation that will end any time soon, IMHO. I like REA for the exposure, but if you need to sell now, PWCC would probably be my choice if there are no takers at your price on BST.

Good luck on it,

Larry
