I strongly suspect that the WaJo card that is Heritage Auction lot #11000 has been incorrectly identified by PSA as a W575-1 card. I believe that this card actually is a W501-Type 2 card. Does anyone (hello Rhett) concur?

Val, I agree that the Johnson is what I would call W501 Type 2.

That being said I don't know that they really made a mistake because I pretty much "invented" that classification for the issue when I wrote the E121-like card article for Old Cardboard. I personally feel that that is the best classification for the set as it is a mirror image of the W501 issue and to continue to call them W575-1 is REALLY confusing. Time will tell if my classifications will become the hobby consensus or not but I really do hope that they do.

I like the W502-2 designation.
