It looks like a cross between an E107 and M116 and sort of has the look of the 1915 W-Unc Cards.....pretty cool...

the image looks to be from the 1908 or the 1909 season very early in phila A's career

1915 W-Unc. One additional note: Baker didn't play in the 1915 season.

Probably not a 1915 W-unc. I'm pretty sure seller has handled or owned cards from that set and would note the similarities. Also, 1915 W-uncs are action shots and not portraits, and are far muddier in appearance than this Baker:

Even the font does not match up well with the 1915 w-unc.
Could be from that set, but it sure lacks most of the attributes.

The seller is a member of our board. He's a good guy and I've worked with him multiple times in the past, maybe he'll see this thread and chime in with his thoughts....

It looks familiar, has it been shown here before? That bottom cut rings a bell...

I wasn't saying it is, or looks exactly like, a '15 w-unc. At first glance, to me, it has the E107/M116/W-Unc '15/M101-4/5 look to it. I examined 6 of the the w-unc's scans of cards I used to own before I said what I did.

In what way would the grading companies slab and label something like this? Or would they not without a definite of what the issue is?

I wasn't responding to you Leon, I was disagreeing with Brian.

it could have come from a candy box or a store display but you would think others would have shown up in the hobby.
