Just arrived from the recent Heritage auction:

On the back, between "Service Station" and "Wheel Alignment & Complete" is a stamp or wrapper transfer. If I flip the image upside down and horizontally, you can read "Spearmint - Peppermint ...... and Hawaiian Fruit."

Does anyone recognize what gum/candy that may be from?

Looks like it had a stick of Curtiss gum stuck to each card as a bonus.

Perfect! Thanks, Justin. It would be interesting to see if other Schumacher backs had the same transfer. Off to look.... :)

Just a quick follow up...


It appears Curtiss gum was attached to the Schumacher cards. Here is another example, courtesy of beckett.com:
