What are the odds this seller actually owns this card? Can anyone track when this was last sold?

Anything is possible. If I am not mistaking there were several Cobb "9s" from the black swamp find.

I didn't find that card, but this one was sold by Heritage for $31,070 in their May 2015 auction. These two Cobbs are only one serial number apart, but only one was listed in the VCP listing for the card. It seems unlikely that someone would sell a card with this high of a value without going through an auction house, but I guess it's possible.

So is this from the Black Swamp Find or the "Black Fox Find"?

Saw this last night as I am a big fan of this set. Serial numbers one apart makes complete sense as they were all graded at the same time, but the chances of this dude with his impeccable feedback rating having this card in hand are, let's just say, buyer beware. Fantastic card, even if it was found in the foothills of Ohio strapped to the back of a black fox. That being said, maybe it's worth a $99 gamble?

the card pictured in the ebay listing has the same serial number as the one in the SCP auction currently running. BUSTED! As if there wasn't enough buyer beware already. What is the protocol for outing someone like this on ebay to get the listing removed?

Good work. What an idiot. Yeah, I think you can contact ebay to have the listing removed. Not sure how's it's done though.

Would love some advice on this. Should I contact seller directly? eBay directly? Bids are over $200 now

I can't take credit. I was only the messenger. It's always good to have questionable (for whatever reason) items looked over carefully, especially on the bay.

Thanks Leon!
