Hi I recently picked up an Appalachian Mfg. Corp bat. On the bat its marked made in USA 435 Marion,Virginia on the centre brand. On the barrel of the bat its marked in block letters GEHRIG TYPE. If anyone could provide any information on this bat I would appreciate it. Thank you

From the looks of some quick searches Appalachian Mfg Corp created numerous unlicensed models and avoided getting in trouble by simply leaving the first name of the player off the bat.

I imagine you purchased the one sold off Ebay a week ago, the condition seems an issue but from this Mears auction listing from 2014 for an Ott it seems you may be able to make a little something on a good day.
