The 1st ones I have seen besides mine. Bought these over 20 years ago at an antique show in Michigan. Stamped on the back "Paul Keehl Romulus Mich.

I contacted his relatives and they do not have a copy of these. They wanted to purchase mine but I was not ready to sell. He had a business that produced these type of figures. Not Sports, other subjects. I'm not sure what else he produced.

Note, one of my Tigers is missing the baseball in the mouth.

I think the buyer got a bargain. Did not see these when they were on EBAY either. Although I did pay much less than this pair went for on EBAY.

Joe, those are great.

Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, the angle of the heads on your bookends are a bit different than the ones on eBay, no?

I don't think so, I took the picture with them laying down. Pretty sure they are the same.

Unless the seller struck a deal off ebay or decided not to part with them, it appears that the listing ended w/o a sale. You might try to contact the seller to see if they are still available. Normally it will indicate sold on an ended auction, if there was a sale.

Ebay seems inconsistent or confusing when it comes to listing sold for an ended auction. If you look at the sellers sold auctions, this shows as Best Offer Accepted.

I've never seen them either. They sold on the 2nd relist for $450

A great buy for someone out there. He undoubtedly wrote the seller, who changed it to a "Buy It Now".

Should've let the auction run, as the pair likely would have realized double that price. A perfect combination of attractive and rare.
