I used this trophy as next week's Sports Antique of the Week, on my site. Click the ad below to read more about it. Has anyone seen one of these before?

your collection is nothing short of amazing. The fortitude, hard work, and a great eye are all evidenced in your pix.....
sorry Carlton - your collection not too shabby either but it's Mark's moment :)
and now back to your regular sponsor......

Well gosh... Thanks! :o

Same exact thing can be said for your amazing collection (and for Joe's, and Carlton's too!) We all have our special niches (with some wonderful overlap) and that's what makes this a great forum. You've all got "stuff" that I'd love to have in my collection, but never will.

It's a labor of love for sure, and great choice, Carlton, on your Antique of the Week. I can assure you the Cobb is stunning in person. As for existing examples, the only other I'm aware of was featured in the Halper auction.

I saw this. I was just watching it to see where it ended up. Is 10K a good price for this?

10k was a good price considering how rare it is, I was figuring it would do 12k .

I didn't buy it - my bid didn't even make it in with final snipes going in .

I didnt win it either. I threw out what I believed was a somewhat strong price (obviously it wasnt:(). I'm wondering if it will be featured in Feb pick ups by a net54er.
