I’m looking for a little help with this card. I am considering selling it to fund another item that has long been my want list. I never thought I would do so as this card has been in my collection for as long as I can remember. I am sentimentally attached to the card. Due to these issues as the owner of this card I am obviously biased. Nonetheless, I have never paid a TPG company to have a card graded. I thought I would be prudent to solicit some unbiased objective assessments of its condition prior to determining if I should send it to be graded. I have scanned the front and back of the card and have not altered the scans at all. What grade do you think it would be assigned? Thanks for the help and opinions in advance.

Well it defintely the Topps version. The thin white line is just a cut-line, not a MB to be confused with. Not too shabby looking, nice indeed. The 'tilt' is what everyone will be looking at. Corners are nice, just a tad wear.

5.5 is my guess. Maybe a 6 but probably not due to centering / diamond cut. Very nice card.

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback guys. Based on the early reviews it looks as if this one may be remaining in my collection.

Yeah, the top right corner probably knocks it down to a 5 or 6. Lovely card, though.

I'll say a 5. Nice card........

I am also going with a 5. Corner wear and a slight tilt to the card, I would not be surprised if the card graded a 4, I would be more surprised if the card graded a 6.

Mike, what do you believe the card should grade at?

If I were sending this one in I'd be expecting a 5 but hoping for a 6.

I really don't know and as I said earlier I am biased. I will go with the consensus of the more objective opinions and say it is a PSA 5. I actually compared it to this PSA 5 in my collection and thought it looked better. Based on the opinions of the Ryan I may have to accept the reality that my Clemente was over graded.

The printing is very nice and the corner wear is not too severe. I'm thinking an easy 5.5, but more likely a 6. The tilt does not affect it enough to knock the grade down. I've seen 8s with more tilt.

+1. Looks like a six to me too.

Its only a number, and the grading number is in the eye of the beholder. Its like abstract art 50 people can see something different

Another vote for a 6.

The corner wear is magnified because of the close up scan.

Nice card.
