Just saw this listing on ebay. That Mathews doesn't look right at all. The reverse card stock doesn't look right, and the obverse is too contrasty and looks like an inkjet rendition. Anyone share similar opinions? Consider reporting it?

All of the sellers cards do not look right to me. Kind of looks like each card has the same red ink on it, and on the back of the 59 Mantle. Maybe the seller should stick to selling coins.

they are fake as can be. just scanned w/ redlaser app and scans do not match certs on flip. all 3 cards (this mathews, 54 & 59 mantles) scan as cert # 16997954.

not necessarily the sellers fault. seen this happen too many times. scammers approach consignors or dealers of cards/coins/collectables. sends them cards to sell for them, consignors sells them for a good bit but a fraction of what they would go for. consignor sends card to buyer, sends a couple of thousand bucks to scammer. buyer then gets card in hand and realizes it's a complete fake and consignor ends up forking out the $8K back to paypal/buyer.

alota times the buyer is the scammer. just a different account. buyer gets his fake card back and a refund of the $8K.

it's terrible. poor coin guy has absolutely no clue as to what just happened....just left holding the proverbial bag.
