Lots of hobby articles about these fakes. I think I have owned one at one time or another...

Kendigs DID issue cataloged cards in the ACC under E236 for the flags.....a (24) card set that aren't particularly tough to get. The text on the back of these cards matches the text on the back of the BB cards minus some of the bottom as the Flag cards are taller than the BB cards would have been. I'd assume the E236 cards to be from the same timeframe as the BB cards.

Yeap, 1910s or teens....The baseball Kendigs are one of the oldest scams in the hobby....

I bought some of these from an antique dealer in late 1980's or early 1990's.

I was in line at the Plymouth Michigan show and Bill Mastro came up to me and let me know they were no good.

I know Bill Mastro, but in early days was a good guy.

I believe I have seen where folks said these have been around even before the 1970s (if I recall correctly)...These seem to be older than the oldest Fro Joy fakes....
