The recent upside down back t207 in Huggins and Scott and the t210 in Collect Auctions (and previously discussed on the board) made me think about how few I have seen of these outside of t206's.

collect auctions t210:

I would love to see more non t206 upside down reverses from prewar sets.

Andy,
I have shown this card in the past and it is the only other known T210 Series 8 Card with an Upside down back and the Wrong series on the reverse. (Series 3). I am guessing the Pepe and the Brooks were located on the same sheet. Speaking of T206, there is actually 1 known card of Joe Pepe in T206. (Proof - Same image, but closer, from waste up)

It could just be the excitement behind t206 and it's collectors showing them off often, but it seems to me there are less upside down backs combined between all the other T sets than there are in t206.

edited to add: e92 may be the most common upside down back if it isn't t206

E91. This the wrong back too, notice Pittsburgh isn't on the checklist

Andy,
You are correct. There is a wide margin differential, but for good reason. T206was massed produced, with so many brand backs, over 3 years that there are going to be way more examples/anomolies for T206 over T210's, etc. - If you think about it, T210 Series 8 typically doesn't have more than 5-10 examples of most players slabbed. T206 would be so high, its not a fair comparison. For the Brooks and Pepe cards you are talking one of a kind. Unique, and extremely rare. For the T206, you may see a few examples of the same player with upside down back... Still tough, but just talking apples and oranges. By the way, I like the Oranges better :D

That is why I say combined. If you combine all the upside down t205s, t207s, t210s, t213s, t216s, etc I am sure it is still lower than the combined t206's.

very unda estimated.;)..........

T206 upside down backs carry the rarity of broadleaf 460....

there are prob less than 75 or so seen...overall...

other issues id guess- timate less than a handful in each issue...

Yeah I have stated I see quite a few e92 (specifically the crofts) show up upside down, but other than t206 and those e92s I just don't see many.
