He was 72. Amazingly, he only played two seasons with the Angels (1970 - 1971) but is the only Angel to win a batting title. .329 in 1970.

Great hitter very underated as a hitter but he apparently had issues with every team he played for. His brother Ron had a few good seasons as a running back for my team the Giants in their dark ages. RIP
