Hi All,

I don't know why, but this one doesn't look right to me:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1933-national-chicle-24-CLARKE-HINKLE-excellent-and-original-/281615931600?ssPageName=ADME:SS:SS:US:3160

I'm thinking its a reprint card... Any opinions?

I'm not an expert, but the bottom looks trimmed to me....

Thanks Dan - I was thinking that may be the area where it says "reprint", but I couldn't find an image of a reprint card. All I remember for sure is that the ink is green rather than blue. If it is just trimmed and not a reprint, that's not as bad as I thought, but there is still something about the clean borders that doesn't sit well with me.

the card is not graded or returnable; stay away from it on that alone.

Good catch Jim - "no returns" is a red flag. I agree that raw vintage cards are pretty risky unless it's someone you know to be reputable and/or have experience with etc.

I would stay away from that card as well. The reprint set has green lettering on the back so this is not one of those. It may just be a fake. Regardless, the bottom looks trimmed to me and I never buy ungraded cards from people that won't take returns.

Either you stand behind the quality of your listings or you don't.

Thanks Jeff - looking at that card saver, I would speculate this may have even been returned as trimmed from a grading company already.
