I can add a picture tomorrow. But it has the same cover as your 1939 Red Sox one.

Hey Brock,
It's difficult to read the American's portion of the score sheet, but does it show that Joe Wood participated in this?
I have an oversized photo print that was produced by the Boston Library about a decade ago that has WaJo, Cy Young, Joe Wood and I believe Lefty Grove who would have been on the BoSox roster in 1939. Just curious...

. . . please post an image(s) of the front and back cover, for those of us without a
Boston Red Sox scorecard from that year to reference. I, personally, am most
interested in seeing the back of your scorecard.
Added: a clear scan of the American League section would also be much appreciated too.
My thanks.

My reason for asking for the back image in particular was that OC member and veteran autograph dealer (and great guy) Jim Stinson sold a number of autograph cuts taken from a 1939 Boston Old Timers Game scorecard. If I recall correctly, he had acquired them from a veteran Boston baseball autograph collector several years ago. Unfortunately, the advertisement images on those cuts do not resemble the back of your particular scorecard. So perhaps it originated from a Boston Braves sponsored game, or a different Red Sox game in 1939.
If I remember correctly, some of the signatures represented among those cuts were:
Joe Connolly
Chief Bender
Buck O’Brien
Joe Casey
Lefty Tyler
George Kelly
Jack Ryan
GC Alexander (signed twice)
plus afew others I fail to remember.
