I was wondering if any net54 members have ever seen this circa 1939-1940's Johnny Vander Meer endorsed ball made by D & M?

If anyone owns one & possibly can post pictures, I would really appreciate it Thanks!

Here's a very similar Goldsmith example, which just sold on ebay. I came very close to making an offer, as the Mint condition with Box was pretty enticing...

I think someone got a nice deal... was it perhaps you, Scott? ;)

I've never seen the D&M version, but am sure there are a few out there. Hopefully someone here can post an example.

They have some nice examples in NH, I may have had this at one time years ago - but it got sold to a collector

Contact the School and see if they can send pictures!

Hi Jimmy,
Thanks! What is NH, and what school are you referring to, please?

Hi Scott,

Draper and Maynard buildings are part of Plymouth State College.

Years ago I visited the school, and they had a great display in their gym of Draper & Maynard memorabilia that had been donated to the school.
