Back in the 90s I focused on only collecting Derek Jeter. But I haven't really collected anything of his since 2000. I'm mainly a Topps guy focusing on my Topps run, but I think it might be fun to try to get some 90s Jeter cards again just for the heck of it.

Really would like to get my hands on the 93 Topps Marlins/Rockies versions. Also a Stadium Club Murphy.

Anyways, I was curious if anyone knows of a place where I could find a master checklist of Jeter cards. Really mainly interested in the mid/early 90s.

Thanks!

I am not a Derek Jeter collector by any stretch, so there may be a very thorough/complete source out there that I don't know of.

In the mean time, if it was me, I'd visit beckett.com and look at their checklist and combine that with what PSA has for their player registry. Obviously combining these two checklists will take a bit of work, and something *still* might slip through the cracks, but I'm guessing you'd get a pretty decent checklist this way.

Good luck!

Richard.

I believe Beckett still offers the best free player checklist search. Then you can cut/paste the results to a word document. It also shows you which cards are serial numbered, memorabilia or autographs. Very handy. I imagine eventually they will lock it down to subscription only, although now the part they don't show is prices.

I just finished a '93 Jeter 'master' run. The toughest card to find was definitely the Upper Deck Gold Hologram, unless you want to shell out 30K for a PSA 10 SP!

Good luck!

I actually have the gold hologram in a 9.

Funny story.

I responded to a Craigslist posting where someone was selling a bunch of 90s junk. I could have cared less about the cards. I wanted the nice D ring binders and Ultra Pro pages. But it was a bulk deal. Take them all for $20. There was probably $50 worth of new pages alone.

One of the binders was filled with a 93 UD set. In the bin that I got the cards in there was also an empty 93 UD factory set box. I didn't know about them at the time, but did a little research and found out that I had a gold set. Crazy lucky. Sent it in to get graded and came back a 9!

Sold the remainder of the set for $100.

Pretty sweet score.

That is a killer score! Are you looking for minor league issues or just the MLB issues?

probably just MLB, but if something piques my interest then I'll go for that too.

Really just doing this as a trip down memory lane, don't plan on getting too crazy with it (for now)

Haha.
