Hi everyone, the name is Ed (hence my user name) and I am very excited to be here.
My focus at the moment is mostly the topps baseball run although I am really only going from 59-79 at the moment.
I LOVE the prewar stuff and I joined here as much to learn as to deal- although I am happy to buy stuff I like and can afford.
I am an active member of both OBC and VCT (and am on SCF as palantri) and I cant wait to meet new friends who share my love of vintage cardboard!

Welcome Ed enjoy the site. Rob
Welcome Ed. I must say you have a great user id too, I wish all members would do that (with their own name, not yours.) If I can ever help with anything board related just shoot me a PM.... I hope you enjoy your stay. Generally it's a fairly civil place. :).

Thanks for the welcome John! I do like the T206, but I prefer the T205's myself. I am partial to the gold border, even if it does flake off pretty bad!

Thanks a ton Brian, I am very appreciative. I had heard that this was a pretty good place to go to enhance vintage collecting, and since that is what I am trying to do, it seemed only logical.
I love the info here- just like OBC, the knowledge is as valuable as the cards, and I hope the people here are as friendly and helpful as our OBC brethren!

Ed,
You wandered onto a great board. There's so much knowledge here and the good part is people are willing to share it. Welcome and enjoy!

Great to have you, Ed! 1959-79 is pretty much what I collected as a kid. More into vintage now, but special place in my heart for the old Topps.
