I thought it might be fun to celebrate the 90's!!

Lets see your two favorite cards from the decades on the back end of centuries!

One from the 1890's and the other from the 1990's.

I'll get it started with two classics.

168487

168489

*Note the sweet 90's style mustaches on both Young and Harper*

Interesting concept.
Not really my favorites, but scans I had quick access to.

That is the oldest and nicest Poor 1 I have ever seen. If it is because of the staple holes on lower left, I want to be on record as saying that card is NOT in poor shape, staple hole or not. That quite frankly is a joke.

To not have the chutzpah to grade that card fairly tells me all I need to know about TPG. To see that it is an SGC graded card only makes me scratch my head.

That card needs to be graded fairly and it has not been.

Damn,

Got so fired up about that SGC 1 that I forgot to post a couple of bookends:

168491

Football at Manhattan Field, 1890's. AKA "The Polo Grounds II"

168492

Approximately a third of the bat is missing (and is missing on many of those cards) Here is another one

Thanks Leon,

I guess the snub nosed bat should have been a dead giveaway. I stand corrected. Cool card nonetheless.

Thanks for pointing that out,

peace, mike
