Hey guys,
I'm curious if everyone knows this is a reprint at first glance? I took a chance .... Yep reprint.

Yeah I would have been suspicious at first glance, that black ink used on the name is a dead giveaway. Should be dark brown.
The rest if the card does look good to me, I may be missing some other clues though.

Agree the black ink name is the dead givaway. At second glance, the corners also seem artificially rounded. Overall, it is a decent job, so don't beat yourself up too much.

The colors are off in several places, like his glove, fingers, and the W on the uniform.
I only noticed because I am looking for a real card of Bill in similar condition.

The black ink was obvious when I pulled it from the package. With it in hand it was obvious in many ways; size, texture, gloss, card stock. The seller sold as possible reprints but I'm sure he knew they were reprints. It was just a $28 chance on 4 cards so I've got some reprints and a lesson learned.
Yeah, when they say "possible reprint" it is definitely a reprint.

Yeah. That makes sense. I'm not too bright. If there wasn't other dim people out there bidding against me I would have saved some money.... Of course that was probably the seller bidding. :p
Don't beat yourself up too much. We all make mistakes, pay too much, or make trades and sales that we regret. This was actually not a very expensive mistake.

It happens to most of us. I've had to rebuy about 5 t205s because of trimming that I did not see.

I almost bid on them when they were cheap. I couldn't tell if the ink was black or brown from the pics so I never bid. Are all of them black ink?

Yeah , they are all the same. It was a lot easier to tell once cards were in hand. If I go back and look at them now its obvious but live and learn.

Lesson learned; not an expensive one. Maybe use them as a reference for future purchases.

At least $28 is not an expensive lesson.

That is true unless they say that ebay rules make them list it as a reprint, because it is not graded. Then it could be real.
