I got a few of these directly from the post office at my clubs stamp show.

Covers from the dedication of the Doug Flutie statue. Silk Cachet, and a BC eagles logo stamp made by Stamps.com. These were excess that didn't get cancelled at the event. They're unsealed, and the stamps are valid anytime, so you could mail them.

But I think they'd be better for autographs or some sort of display. :)

I got a few, $3 each shipped, Most any sort of payment ok.

I just figured I'd add that the BC logo stamp isn't a current offering, and is currently prohibited by the Stamps .com rules. They were probably made specially for the post office for use on these covers.

So this is probably the only way to get an uncancelled copy of the stamp.

Boring stamp info-------That puts them in an unusual position, they're not officially issued by the PO, and the PO considers photo stamps to be technically meters. In other words, they usually won't cancel them. Unless they're using a special one on a cover they're selling. If they were made specially for the PO, then they could be considered to be "official" US stamps. A fine distinction but sometimes an important one.
