I already have a longtime website and domain, but switched to apple and my webpage program is both for pc and really, really old. So I'm hoping for some recommendations for good software for making new web pages for my site.

Thanks in advance

Let me make sure we're understanding what you're wanting. You're needing a source code editor that works on an Apple platform? Something like Notepad ++ that will work on OS X?

How do you author your pages; WYSIWYG, or do you actually write your own HTML and CSS pages from scratch?

I used to use Adobe Pagemill. Not know if they make that still for mac.

I can and do go in and change html on existing pages, but am looking for something like pagemill to make to pages.

Adobe Dreamweaver? You used Adobe before (Pagemill was discontinued in 2000 lol), so it might be familiar to you.

Coda 2 is a great all in one editor/preview/upload app. Sublime 2 is my favorite editor but a bit more advanced to setup. Then there is rapid weaver a WYSIWYG editor.
