They just cleaned our (Giants) clocks! That aside, really happy to see them in the pennant race so late in the season and hope they take the central. It's a great story. 29 years is too long for any fan base to wait for a postseason, so I'll be psyched for Royal fans if they can seal the deal.

It's a shame baseball has done such a poor job of keeping fans interested in teams from outside their markets. This run and the Pirates' last year could be such good opportunities to rally support nationally.. Like an unexpected NCAA Tourney run.

Royal mania!! And they just landed Willingham from the Twins. I think they'll be pleasantly surprised with his pop and ability to hit in the clutch. Like my golf clubs, there are plenty of good hits left in his bats, as he certainly used them sparingly this season.

Finally.........been watching Billy Butler get better as well. Was at Kauffman a few months back and enjoyed it. Go Royals!!!
