The grading companies take a lot of heat for all sorts reasons on this board, but I want to give them some praise when they do something right.

I dropped off a small group of cards to Earl at the SGC booth at Nationals on Saturday. He was very helpful. I submitted using the Net54 special. I expected to not to see the cards for a couple of weeks, but on checking my submission status yesterday evening I noted that the cards have been graded and shipped.

Now that is service. Way to go SGC!

Best regards,

Joe

I had a similar experience with cards I sent in on 05 August. They were graded and shipped out 07 August. Very fast service.

I have had a 1961 Koufax, auto, for 20+ years. I have been scared to authenticate it, but decided to pull the trigger at the National. I couldn't be happier. I love the red flip with the '61 design. SGC's customer service is top notch!

The Net54 SGC special was great.(Thanks Leon!) Free return shipping and orders upgraded to the Grand Slam level which is a 5 day service.
I assumed they couldn't meet that turnaround time, but my 2 subs of about 100 cards were logged in on 8/1 at the Nat'l
even though they weren't back in NJ till 8/4 & today I got notification that my subs have been shipped.
Hats off to SGC!

Are they using the new labels with the green borders now?

... on the net54 board for some very good reasons!
we appreciate primarily, their superior customer service.
hard to find ANY company that is more responsive and proactive than sgc.
are they perfect? no...
but, they've certainly left the competition in their dust when it comes to consistency, integrity and trying.
an A for effort, plus kudos to sean & staff, for their contributions to our hobby!

Yes!
Here's a card that was reholdered in Cleveland last week
So I assume these are the only ones they will use now

Dropped off about 10 cards on 8/1 at the National, but haven't seen anything logged yet on the status page. Not mad, just happy with the free return S/H/I. Great deal on small orders. New flips are a plus too.

I have to agree with you Joe.

SGC once again extended excellent customer service to me. They always have and this is why I go to them when I need cards authenticated.

Turned in my cards at the National and got them in the mail today.

I couldn't be more pleased with how they treated me.

Here is one of the cards I submitted to be graded last week. Bought it off of Ebay last August raw for $30 & change. Who says nice raw cards can't still be found?

Not to knock anything by any means, but you seem to have gotten a generous grade.

Hi Jantz,

Sorry I didn't run into you at Nationals. I hope that you added some new treasure to your collection.

I also like the tobacco stains on Polar Bears. They are just like caramel stains on candy issues. To my knowledge SGC doesn't deduct for natural staining on those issues either.

Best regards,

Joe
