View Full Version : Why doesn't PSA grade Butterfingers?

It appears as though SGC does grade them, but I gather PSA doesn't. Are they just too fragile for them to grade?

I recently picked up a fantastic Gehrig and I'd love to get it looked at.

Here's the reason I asked. Not the greatest scan but you get an idea. You have to look hard to find any flaws, but without grading that makes it tough.

They keep slipping out of their fingers and they continually have to keep picking them up off of the floor? LOL

I think Beckett is the only company with a large enough holder for the American Butterfingers ... I don't believe SGC grades them either .. unless they have a new holder .. i think the max size is 7x9 .. they grade the Canadian Butterfingers but not the American Butterfingers

Yes, as others have stated PSA doesn't grade this premium because it is larger than the largest holder that PSA has. I thought it was larger than SGC's largest also, so only Beckett can encapsulate (which they do, since I had them holder mine). It's a brick, however, for the Beckett holder.
