IMHO, the most beautiful regular-issued set ever produced, for various reasons. Congrats on your burgeoning 1914 set AJ!!

Bottom right is Ruth right? I think I've seen that card before... some kind of promotional give-away?

@zachS - Yeah this is the "card that never was". It was a promo at the National last year. only 500 cards slabbed by Memory Lane and PSA and then "raw" cards were given out at the show. You can find on eBay for around $100. I believe Memory Lane commissioned a large painting by a well known artist to come up with the design.

@Jacker_Cracks - yes started collecting the set in May. I've fallen hard for this set and admittedly a bit obsessed at the moment. haha. I wish I had started earlier as prices have seemed to spike as of late.

@sniffy5 - Tom thanks again for your advice. It's nice to connect with a fellow 14 CJ nut.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're asking of us? Can you rephrase the question?

He means that the card on the lower right corner doesn't belong with the set. It's a "fake" ( see above for explanation). :)

Ok, Sean. Thank you. I thought I was losing my mind.

Ya, that Ruth was given away at the National last year iirc. A lesser version was included with copies of the Cracker Jack book, which I have.

Great grouping of CJs...such a great set.

I sure wish George Gibson had made it into at least one of these two (14 or 15) sets.

Cheers,

Richard.
