Congrats, David. I read the Amazon page and would like to know more about the book. Do you have a more detailed description?
It has academic material but is not an academic book in the traditional sense. It's a book of important philosophical and cognitive science ideas written in a highly personal and idiosyncratic (and often comic) style. If you require a movie and novel to be linear and formulaic, it's not for you. Due to the off beat rhetorical style and content, readers either call it a piercing work of genius or say "What the Hell was that?"
The book's only 117 pages. If I summarized it further, the summary would be longer than the book.

Several reviews said they thought it could have been done in only 116 pages.
People question my sanity, but never my intelligence.
Only a true genius can pull off explaining aleatoricism in art and making a joke about his dog peeing in a freezer on the same page.

Had to look that one up. Not a common thing for me. (And maybe more a statement about my reading habits than my vocabulary)
Looks like an interesting book.

Sounds interesting, and short, enough. I'll check it out.
