Found this among our collection today. 1939 Yankees? Looks to be an original photo and it's big, 11x14ish. Don't know much else about it other than it's been in storage for 20+ years.

Edit: It's actually 11x17.

Appears original to me. Izzy Kaplan was a well-known New York-based photographer in the 1920's-40's. I'm not familiar with his stamping, but don't see anything about that one that would trigger my Spidey-sense. Very nice photo, especially in that oversized format.

I can't speak about the vintage, but it's definitely the '38 club. And it's a beaut!

Graig is correct. No-hit pitcher Monte Pearson (back right in photo) was traded to the Cincinnati Reds in 1939.
