Does anyone have information on these tattoos of Tris Speaker and Ray Collins (I think)?
I've found on another Net54 post that the set is called 1912 Boston Red Sox Tattoos, but that's basically all I've found on these.
Are these rare or valuable? I'd appreciate any additional info on these curious tattoos!

I think it must be a reference to Jimmy Collins,(3B) not Ray (P). Also not familiar with the designation, but, if it is Jimmy Collins, who was a third baseman, his career in boston ended in 1908, i believe, and he was not around in 1912.

Standard catalog is not sure which Collins is represented in the set. Collins $10 in VG, Speaker $35 in VG according to Standard Catalog.

I have my Speaker classified as a stamp but tattoo is probably correct. They have some value and I would guess about $50 for a Speaker in auction.....(and some of my quarter and coin collection)
