I have been asking around and researching for quite sometime about empty boxes that these packs came in. I can't come up with anything. I have asked several people that collect these sets about if they have ever seen a display box or even a picture and have came up empty. I have seen wrappers and own a 1935 Football Stars Wrapper but am interested if anyone on this board has seen or owns a box??
Thanks Tucker

This box was probably used in 1939 for the R303 Goudey issue. The original Diamond Star cards were issued by National Chicle in 1934-36. Goudey bought the Diamond Star name around 1937 and used the name in 1939. The box has the Goudey name and refers to playing tips which were on the backs of R303 large "cards".

Believe this is a box for the R303 premiums, issued by Goudey as Diamond Stars a few years after National Chicle produced its Diamond Stars and football set.
