I wanted to take a second and wish everyone a happy new year. I also wanted to briefly mention that our January Collectors Auction is up. It has some tremendous images. We will always limit the number of images that hit the market, and will only ever have 200-400 photos in our Monthly Collectors Auctions. These photos are all quality photographs and we feel that even though we have many more images we could offer, it does a disservice to the hobby to throw thousands of photos into the market each and every month, no matter how good they might be.

We have recently had the opportunity to acquire one of the greatest archives ever purchased and will have the absolute privilege to offer it to you in 2014. Without going onto too many details (and spoil the surprise later), I can say that while the number of images in the archive was relatively small (compared to the Millions of photos in some archives), it is the oldest and greatest quality of sports images we have ever seen and we are excited to bring this to the public and offer the images to our friends on Net54 soon! This Jan. auction is a great chance to get registered and get on our mailing lists so you get notified when this new collection hits the market.

All our best to each Net54 member for 2014, may you all find health, happiness, and the perfect vintage photograph!

Any wins of note? I picked up these three. My apologies to whoever I kept up late bidding on the Yale cabinet. It finally sunk in that my opposition was determined to win it and/or didn't have to get up in 5 hours to get a kid ready for school, so I gave up and went to bed :D

After winning stuff in the first two RMY auctions, I got shut out last night. I liked the Van Oeyen photo of Marberry.

Is it just me or does the kid to the far right in the first photo look like a ghost? Maybe its just the photo. Then again maybe just me!!:D

Being a cub's fan I couldn't resist this pick up.

I really love vintage one of a kind items.

I think that one was shot after he had that rare thigh removal surgery. Sounds like a great idea until you find out you can't ride the good carnival rides any more.

He looks so much taller on his T206s.
