Stores or shows in New Orleans?

Does anyone know of any card shops or shows in the New Orleans area? I have been looking but have had no success.

I live about 40 minutes from NOLA. I haven't heard of anything but I'd like to know if there's anything out there myself. There are a few card shops in my area but nobody messes with the old stuff. It's all shiny crap.

From their eBay site. I have bought quite a few pre-war cards from him in the past couple of months and he has been a good seller. I am looking forward to getting to NO and taking a look at his shop.

Hi Zach, have you been to the monthly card show in Kenner? It is a small show but there are usually a couple of guys with a good selection of pre-war cards.

This is from the Beckett Show Calendar. The last time I attended, the show was at the Ramada near the airport in Kenner. It looks like it has now changed to Metairie. You can give Roland a call to confirm.

Alex- please let us know what kind of inventory the shop has, if you don't mind. I get to New Orleans for Jazz Fest each year and would love to actually go to a pre-war card shop. You have to think that there must be some Coupons (T212s) although I'm not holding my breath on there being any Victorys, etc.

The shop owner sold a Victory on ebay a couple of weeks ago, along with some Holsum Bread, Weil Baking, and quite a few Type 2 Coupons. I don't know what he has in his shop, but hopefully he kept some of the old stuff to sell in the shop.

Wish I had time to head south and check it out.

Drove over to the shop today. It was a small place in a strip mall. The owner seemed pretty nice but not much of a salesman. Unfortunately he does not have any tobacco cards in the store. He puts them all on Ebay.

I mentioned Net54 but he had never heard of it.
