Just won this one off of eBay. It is a original press photo of my Great Great Uncle Elmer Miller scoring the first run ever for the Yankees in a World Series. He singles to lead off the first inning on October 5, 1921 and was Driven in on a single hit by the Sultan of Swat himself, Babe Ruth.

Currently reading "1921" about the 1921 season and the resultant first World Series between the Giants and the Yankees. I didnt realize Elmer Miller was the player he was. It is a great read if you are collecting E121's or any other early 1920's era card series.

I am currently collecting all the E121-80 and E121-120 Yankees and Giants and have them SGC graded in Pennzoni cases. Still have a few cards to go but they look awesome. I have the book and it definitely is an interesting read for me with Elmer Miller being a distant relative.
