In the lead article we debunk Merkle game claims for a much circulated early 20thC Polo Grounds photo. The article includes a description of the evolution of the Polo Grounds from about 1905 to 1911.

I admit that given the level of detail, this is not an easy read. If you are interested in this subject it may be worth the time. In any case, there is some other good stuff, and Leon gets mentioned on page 15.

Seriously though, nice work as usual from Mark and the rest. I've come to expect no less, and the level of detail is always appreciated. Keep up the good work!
