So I posted a few days ago to see whether or not people thought I should send these Cards to PSA. (Just asked about the first few scans)

Now I need to know which cards Should be sent for my 15 free ones.

All of them will be graded (unless noted otherwise), But the 15 Free ones will get returned to me much faster, Thus allowing me
to get to work selling them sooner for my friend.

Im still unsure on the Williams, Whether to send it or not.

Which 15 would you send in first?

I have an Idea as too which ones Im thinking they should be but just looking for a few more opinions

Debating the Ted Williams above because its got a crease in the bottom right corner, would you send it?
also unsure of the Brett Mini as it too has quite a bit of chipping

Don't enjoy stating the completely obvious, but here I go. That 1962 Clemente is significantly shorter than the '68 Mantle beside it. Looks like someone took a razor to its top and/or bottom.

I just measured them both, Both are 3.5x2.5 so it must be a scanner issue causing an optical illusion, the mantle is actually slightly longer than 3.5 (by about 1/32nd an inch)

The 59 sandy K would get a o/c so I would skip that

Skip it all together or just for the free subs?

Wow. Were these scanned in at the same time next to each other? Because an 'optical illusion' wouldn't occur to only one card, making it shorter. I would not send the Clemente in lest you get a 'trimmed' designation.

by optical illusion i was thinking more along the lines of perhaps the clemente is slightly slanted making the corners not line up. But yes i measured the cards with 3 different rulers. each time it came out to be the right size with the mantle slightly too large... plus it couldn't have been trimmed since theres only ever been one owner. (my friend whose collection im selling)

I'd slab the Mantle (harder to move in their natural state, particularly when that clean) as the Spahn (at the bottom). For the others, I would pick the ones that have the best centering. These cards are beautiful but there are some centering issues. You are less likely to get the bump from the registry guys for cards with qualifiers.

Agreed. Centering and pick the ones with the best / sharpest corners. Any cards with a crease will likely grade a 2 or 3. I would skip those cards. As mentioned before, make sure the cards measure correctly.

I would use a 15 percent rule --- meaning if the grading is 15percent (or so) the total value of the card in that condition, I'd send that in for grading. For example -- if the card is worth $50 in that shape, I'd send that in for grading at an $8 level and I'd widen the net a bit as well

I wouild send in the following cards if no creases and measure OK and actually a couple of additions

68 Mantle -- I'd send that in any condition
62 Clemente
55 Robinson -- I'd send that in any condition
76 Payton RC
68 Bench
52 Spahn
56 Koufax
56 Ted Williams

And anything else you are comfortable in for sending in for grading. With these cards, the more you get graded, the easier sales they will be for all concerned.

I hope I am wrong here. I think PSA sets limitations on the free grades with membership purchase. The value of the given card may not exceed a certain dollar level. I did not look too closely at your cards, so if they're EX-MT or NM, you may send them away. Not in any way meant to be a killjoy, but do check their rules closely.

Here's wishing you a pleasant outcome!

If it were me, I'd send the 68 Mantle. That card is a 7 or better in my opinion.

Top-to-bottom centering will keep it from grading a 7, but it is still a nice card. With any luck you will get a 6 or 7 (OC).

Pretty sure for free subs there is no min value, the best way to send the stars in IMO
