The last one of these they produced back a couple years ago was pretty cool, but had some questionable signatures. The Topps Five Star stuff is a very expensive product... I'm looking forward to seeing the quality of signatures Topps puts into this card and how much it will go for!

I would not expect any improvement from Topps. They are the same company that produced that last sham you refer to. Would surprise me if they learned their lesson from that experience.

Sad but true. One almost has to wish that the autos they use are unauthentic so that they don't butcher good pieces.

This is coming from someone who likes well-done cut auto cards from card companies. The problem is that Topps seems to have serious problems producing well-done cards of this sort (full disclosure: former Topps employee here).
