Wow! That is awesome man. Where did you find all of this stuff? Newspaper clippings too? That is really. I love the Chesbro. You should show it to the guys at T206 Resource so they can add it to their photo gallery.

Awesome Chris. Thanks for sharing that.

WHOAAAA!!!!

Mr. McDaniel, if you do not mind, what is the history of that piece? That is seriously gorgeous! How big is it in person?

Very special.

Thanks Derek, it’s a composite photograph of the 1907 Eastern League Teams I'm not sure how they were obtained originally. It measures roughly 25”x25” or so.

Mr. McDaniel ... nice stuff ... will you let it go for $40 shipped ??? of course, i kid ;)

That is seriously special. You see so many match ups with the minor leaguers from the T206 set. Too cool! Thank you for sharing.

I can do $40 but you have to cover shipping Derek. :)

Thanks for the kudos.

Cheers,

Great work Chris!!

I doubt I will ever find an original, but I've searched through many old photo albums looking :o Seen some very strange old photos in the process though :D

Great looking pictures so far guys. As shown many times before but still fitting in this thread, I guess there would be a few T206 images in this picture. Originally from the Nixie Callahan estate.....(This picture does it no justice.)

Here are my files of original photos used for T206's, that haven't yet been posted on my website - these have been sitting around doing nothing for quite some time, as I'm thinking about changing my website hosting service. Some are upgrades, some are from old Spalding Guides, but most I consider high enough quality to use on my website.

Here are a few, some of which may have been posted previously, and I'm certain a few are 'near misses', but they should at least be a little entertaining.

I'll post a few portraits later, that also aren't yet on my website. If anyone needs higher-res scans of any of these, or any of the others in my lists above...or my website, just let me know by email. I have much much more than is on my website. If anyone has good stories or wants to do write-ups on any of these, please let me know - the purpose of my site is to get others involved in the T206 history.

Chris, I'm compiling a list of T206 original photos that can be found in Reach and Spalding Guides. It's not a task I'm all that excited about - if you would like to take it over I'll be glad to send you what I have. I have most of the Reach and Spalding Guides from the T206 period, so it should be easy to get a nice, exhaustive list.

However, I planned to add it to my website, so I would need that agreement from you. Thanks.

Sure Scott, whatever I can help with. Might be nice to start a page with a list of the the entire set and a link to the original pic. Looks like we are getting close to 25%.

Oh and that Duffy and McGraw are outstanding!

These pics and the how you laid the others and their t206 counterpart card on your site, look amazing. I think they are the perfect way to compliment a t206 collection. Happy to help however I can.

Nicely done Scott!

So the original photo of Tinker (hands on knees) did have Chicago on his shirt.

Love these photos. Thank you for making these available.

Does anyone know how to get frame-worthy photos of these? I assume there are no hi res digital versions that would print well? Or sites to get prints? I know about the Conlon site but those are very expensive and not sure if his images are used for the T206s.

Any help would be great. I'd love some photos to go with the cards.

Thanks!
