Does this look slightly trimmed to anyone else?

Perhaps its just me?

EDIT: Not a complaint about the seller. The seller will refund your money if the card is found to be trimmed.

Top looks small but I would probably be more concerned about that left edge.

I was concerned about the left edge as well, but may be an optical illusion.

Any time a card like that shows up on ebay ungraded it is a huge red flag.

not a bad looking card...but agreed...the left edge is suspect...most likely trimmed.

From the ad, "We guarantee this card is AUTHENTIC and UNTRIMMED or your money back" so at least you got that going for you, which is nice :D

There you go...return policy and guarantee. Seller is legit...and sells lots of vintage so I'd trust them...just have to deal with canadian shipping inconveniences.

Looks like a pretty presentable card...appears to have minor defects preventing a higher grade but could be a good deal.

You live in Minnesota and the seller is in Michigan. What does Canada have to do with this?

Don't blame Canada!!!

I think the card is untrimmed, but it would be easy enough to tell once you have it in hand, and the guarantee covers you.

Not that a seller can't change, but this seller has been the subject of shady listing practices in the past. It's been discussed on Net54 a few times.

Also, regarding the Cobb card --- notice that there is an erasure or pen mark of the number 42 on the top of the back that is hidden by the ridiculously bright white back. So the back is not necessarily "OUTSTANDING" or "clean with light typical age toning". The mark, pen, pencil, erasure, whatever, is not mentioned in the listing.

Good catch! I didn't even notice that on the back. I was preoccupied with the borders.

There is usually a reason that an experienced seller doesn't have a high end card graded. Nice catch on the mark.

IMO it looks trimmed to me. Nice catch with the pen mark on the back.

+1. However, I am not sure I ever trust private feedback auctions 100%.
