Just looking for opinions, what's the best Lou Gehrig item (card, premium, exhibit, any thing that could be displayed easily) available under $500? Not interested in '33 or '34 Goudey.
Would love to hear any and all opinions and if scans are available, please post them.
Thanks,
Tony

I have a beautiful butterfinger premium of Lou Gehrig which I've had some years now. It was around a hundred then but surely one could be found for way less than 500 even with inflation.
You and I seem to be talking baseball a lot lately! :)

Barry, one JUST sold on ebay for $260 about 10 mins. ago. It looked real nice but just couldn't pull the trigger not knowing much about it and wanting more options to choose from. I used to have a really nice graded Gehrig 4 on 1 that I still regret selling about 2 years ago (needed the money for a new house - stupid house!). Gosh I wish I could get it back. :o it's the ONE card I wish I still had.

whatever you choose, you'd best make sure it rings a bell as much as the 4 in 1 did
or you'll regret it!
all the best, ole buddy

Its hard to beat the image on a W554. You should be able to get one for 500.00 or less, but they don't come up very often.
