Was wondering if someone might know what set this is from. The Daubert #38 matches with the E135 set but this one is blank backed? Appreciate the help :)

Yessir, it looks like that's what you've got-- a blank-backed E135. Here are a couple more to go with Leon's for comparison:

At one time, the blank back E135's were thought to be issued in 1916, a year before the Collin McCarthy issue. I have an E135 blank back Ruth that PSA says was issued in 1916. PSA gives 1916 for numerous other blank backs. I believe the current belief is they were all issued in 1917 and there were just some issued with blank backs.
