Does anyone know who Silky Wells was? I think he might have been active in the 1920's to 1950's era. Any help would be appreciated.

I picked up his BENLEE robe at a prop house. Is it possible Silky Wells is a FICTIONAL CHARACTER in a movie rather than a real boxer?
