I found this in a local antique shop. Can some of you who are familiar with vintage masks help to identify the year? it has a D & M label affixed to a strap. (Draper & Maynard?)
Thanks, J

Turn of the Century Goggle-Eye Style Catcher’s Mask. The professional sellers around here ask $300 to 500.

On a good day you can get $225, ebay sales may be less

Circa 1910 . Nice shape it looks like.

Thanks for the info. It does appear to be in great shape. I think I'll go back for a second look.

After the second visit...
The mask measures about 12" by 8.5". Would that make it adult or child size?
Also, back in the day were the leather pads attached by wire as shown in this photo?

I would think its adult size. The wire is ok. It does look like a mid grade model- not top of the line. Very nice mask.

Thanks, Matt.
What are differences between mid & top grades?

Some differences could be a sun visor, throat protectors, perhaps ear guards, heavier steel. This mask is a decent looking mask though!
