Just wondering if anyone had any predictions...

If I had to guess I would think some non-t206 tobacco set.. maybe even the t204 as they have been out of favor for a while.. I only own one beater t204 though - I have little faith in any of my predictions!

I predict everything I have been collecting this year will skyrocket and everything I haven't been collecting will plummet :D

That said, T205 backs

If I had to predict, vintage cards in the low to mid-grade will stay the same, and maybe take a small step back in prices, although nothing major. High-grade cards tend to trade in their own universe. I think E93 and E95 cards might start trending higher again. I think T205's still have room to go down.

t205's I think will go up From a supply and demand stand point I think its a no brainer.

On ebay there always seems to be at least triple the amount of t206's for sale than t205, damn just looked quick on Stearling and there are 121 - t206 on stearling and only 6 - t205's for sale.

Not to mention they are awesome looking :D

I predict that my high quality fake Frank Chance T206 will be graded as a legit PSA 7 or better but the market for this card will plummet leaving me totally dismayed and PO'd about sports cards in general. I will then focus my collecting interests on completing my 1961 Horror Monster set. :D

I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you.

One thing is guaranteed, sure as rain the week I wash my car: whatever set it is, I won't have any cards from it.

I agree with Peter, I think possibly CJ's or even a modern set like Desert Shield cards now that Chipper has retired.

I think some trends expand out from T206's, with the recent burst in rare backs and miscuts/double names values, I think the trend will continue into T205 and T207 for those same kind of cards.

I think there has been and will continue to be serious price increases in N172's with the boldest images regardless of the grade.

It also seems like a player or two each year experiences a real rise in prices, the last year and half seem to have been all about Ruth, his cards all seems to be on fire. I can remember Joe Jackson, Cobb, Mantle and a few others doing the same thing over other time periods.

Not sure who the next will be, I know I am chasing some Gehrigs and what I will pay if I see one has gone up as I am getting tired of waiting haha.

the last few months, these cards have been flying off the BIN rack at prices higher than the SMR...

under collected set that was the first set ever with stats on the back...pretty cool claim to fame IMO

T205 is also considered the first set with stats on the back. As Adam said, no doubt the next big rise in value will be cards of which I don't have very many, if any.

M116 blue...t213... Much scarcer than t206 cards and they have a nicer image.

C'mon Adam, in 1914 all vintage boxing will skyrocket ;)
