View Full Version : 1951 Bowman double misprint

We have seen quite a few of the 1951 Bowman misprints so far but most of them, if not all I have seen, have only had printing on one side. This Page/Kerr card is different in that it is printed on both sides. The front has Buddy Kerr pictured with Joe Pages bio. The back is opposite. I don't collect much in the way of post war but I enjoy early, inexpensive anomalies. Anyone else want to show some....be my guest. :)

Extremely cool card Leon! Not only is that Page image part of a misprint, it is missing several colors as well, as the nameplate and the fenceline are incomplete. Nice pickup.

Bowman's pressman must have been doubly drunk that day in 1951.

Come to think of it there have been a number of 1951 Bowman misprints lately. Picked up this one as a type, but blank backed
